Official Rules
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Buying anything from us does not improve your chances. This is a judged contest, not a draw: the three best applications win. Please read these rules before you apply. By applying, you accept them.
01Sponsor
The contest is run by LTVplus LLC, doing business as Context Engine ("Context Engine", "we", "us", "our"), 1032 E Brandon Blvd #1003, Brandon, FL 33511, United States. Contact: hello@contextengine.com.
The contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with the Marketing Speak podcast, Stephan Spencer, or Netconcepts. We named the page after the show because David Henzel announced it there as a guest. Any question about the contest goes to us, not to them.
02Who can apply
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
- You must apply on behalf of a business or organisation you work for or run, and be authorised to accept the prize for it. The prize goes to that organisation.
- One application per person and one per organisation. If we receive more than one, we keep the first.
- Employees, contractors, and owners of LTVplus LLC, Relote, and Netconcepts, and the members of their immediate families or households, may not apply.
- The contest is open worldwide, but it is void where prohibited or restricted by law, and we may decline to award a prize where doing so would break sanctions or export rules.
03Entry period
Applications open on 6 September 2026 and close on 31 October 2026 at 23:59 US Eastern Time. Our server's clock decides what counts as on time. Applications received after the close are not judged.
04How to apply
Complete the application form at contextengine.com/marketingspeak and submit it. There is no fee and no purchase. If you cannot use the form, email the same information to hello@contextengine.com with the subject "Marketing Speak application" before the close, and we will treat it as an entry.
Applications that are incomplete, automated, submitted by script, or that contain false information may be disqualified. We may verify any statement in an application before awarding a prize.
05How winners are chosen
This is a contest of skill. There is no random element. After the close, the Context Engine founding team reads every eligible application and scores it from 1 (weak) to 5 (strong) on each of four criteria, weighted equally:
- Fit: a team of roughly 5 to 200 people whose work depends on shared knowledge such as decisions, customers, projects, and the reasons behind them.
- Clarity: how clearly the application describes what the organisation keeps forgetting and what that costs.
- Impact: how clearly it describes what would change if that memory existed and every member could query it.
- Readiness: the ability to commit two hours and the set-up conversations within 90 days of accepting.
The three applications with the highest total scores win. If two applications tie, the one submitted earlier ranks higher. The judges' decisions are final. We may decline to award a prize if fewer than three applications meet a reasonable standard on these criteria.
06The prizes
There are three prizes, one per winner. Each prize consists of:
- A two-hour workshop with David Henzel, held remotely over video, for the winner's team. The workshop maps where the organisation's context lives today, decides what its Context Engine should remember first, and produces a set-up plan. Stated value: $1,500.
- A one-year Context Engine team license, starting on the date of the workshop or another date we agree. It includes every connector and update shipped during the licensed year and standard email support, under our standard license terms. The engine runs single-tenant, on the winner's own server or hosted by us. The license does not expire if the winner chooses not to renew. Stated value: $4,000.
The stated value of each prize is $5,500, and the total stated value of all prizes is $16,500. Prizes have no cash alternative, cannot be transferred or sold, and cannot be exchanged for other services. If part of a prize is unavailable for a reason outside our control, we will substitute something of equal or greater value.
The workshop must be scheduled within 90 days of the winner accepting the prize. If it is not, the workshop lapses; the license is unaffected. Hosting, servers, connectors to third-party tools, and anything beyond the license and the workshop are the winner's responsibility unless we agree otherwise in writing.
07Notification and acceptance
We will email winners at the address on their application by 14 November 2026. A winner has 7 days from that email to accept the prize and confirm eligibility. If a winner does not respond in time, declines, or turns out to be ineligible, we may award the prize to the next-ranked application. We are not responsible for email that does not arrive; check your spam folder.
08Taxes
Any tax on a prize is the winner's responsibility. Winners in the United States will be asked for a completed IRS Form W-9 before the prize is delivered, and we will issue a Form 1099 for the stated value. Winners elsewhere are responsible for any reporting their own country requires.
09The discount for every applicant
Every applicant, winner or not, may use the code MARKETINGSPEAK for 20% off the first year of a Context Engine license, personal or team, when the license is purchased before 31 December 2026. The code is a courtesy, not part of the prize. It cannot be combined with other offers and applies to the first year only. To use it, mention the code when you book a walkthrough or email us.
10Your information
We use what you submit to run the contest: to check eligibility, judge applications, contact winners, and deliver prizes. Applications are stored in a database we control at Cloudflare and in our own Context Engine instance, where the judges read them. We do not sell them. We keep non-winning applications for six months after the winners are announced and then delete them, unless you ticked the box asking to hear from us, in which case we keep your name and email until you unsubscribe. Winners' details are kept for as long as the license runs and as the law requires. Our Privacy Notice explains your rights, including how to have your application deleted.
The marketing checkbox on the form is optional. Leaving it unticked does not affect your application or your chances.
11Publicity
We would like to name the winners on the contest page and in our own channels by first name, last name, and company. We will ask each winner first, and we will respect a no. Beyond that, no winner is required to appear in any marketing, and we will not publish the contents of any application.
12Disqualification and changes
We may disqualify an application that breaks these rules, contains false information, is submitted by automated means, or attempts to interfere with the contest. If the contest cannot run as planned for a reason outside our control, we may suspend, modify, or cancel it, and will say so on the contest page. We may also correct an obvious error in these rules; the corrected version will be posted at this address.
13Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the contest or a prize, or for any technical failure that prevents an application from reaching us. Nothing in these rules excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing in them affects rights you have as a consumer where you live.
14Governing law
These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute that is not otherwise resolved will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction over Delaware-governed matters, to the extent the law allows. Our Terms of Use apply to the website itself.
